Materials:
- Goat’s Milk Soap Base (or you can use either Coconut Soap Base or Shea Butter Soap Base)
- Clear Soap Base
- Poppy Seeds
- Silicone Loaf Soap Mold
- Red Soap Colorant
- Green Soap Colorant
- Pyrex Measuring Cup
- Watermelon Fragrance Oil
The Steps:
- Repeat this step for every soap layer: put the goat’s milk soap base into the Pyrex measuring cup then microwave it in 30-second increments. Stir the soap until it’s completely melted.

- First, make the dark green layer. Do Step 1 above. When the soap is already melted completely, add green soap colorant as much as needed to get the color you want and also 10 drops of watermelon fragrance oil. Finally, pour the green soap liquid into the soap mold to make the base of the watermelon soap. Make sure to pour only ¾ of it. Then, let it firm for about 15 – 20 minutes.

- Second, make the light green layer. Take the remaining dark green soap in the Pyrex cup and add about ¼ lb. white soap cubes to make the dark color a bit lighter. Put the cup in the microwave while doing the same technique of stirring until the color’s mixed perfectly. After that, pour the soap into the mold and let it firm for about 15 – 20 minutes.

- Third, make the white layer. Take ¼ lb. of white soap cube and repeat Step 1. After that, add 5 drops of watermelon fragrance oil. Pour the soap into the mold and let it firm for about 15 – 20 minutes.

- Fourth, make the red/pink layer. Take 3 lbs. of the clear soap base and cut them into cubes. Repeat step 1. After that, add 15 drops of watermelon fragrance oil and stir it. Then, add 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds. Stir the soap a little bit before pouring it into the mold. After the red soap is poured into the soap mold, sprinkle the top of it with poppy seeds once more. Let it firm for about 90 minutes until the whole soap layers are completely hardened.

- Once the soap’s hard enough, remove the silicone liner from the mold and carefully remove the soap from the silicone.

- Cut the soap either in rectangular shapes or the watermelon shape.
